Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I need a Yoga Mat?
A. I have mats for new students to borrow. If you intend to come regularly to class you can purchase your own Yoga Mat on-line. TX Maxx at the Cowley Shopping Centre sometimes have mats for sale.

Q. Can I just turn up to class?
A. Classes are structured around terms. Most of the time, the classes are fully booked with term attendees. If there is space for drop-in students, then I usually post this information on the timetable section. If there's nothing there, it means I am (or expect to be) fully booked with regulars. If you can't commit to a term of practice then email me and we may be able to work something out. For pricing see here; and for a map to the venue follow this link - maps are linked from the title of each Venue to Google Maps.

Q. How do I find the venue?
A. Each venue has a google maps link on the timetable section of my website. Follow this link and click on the name of the venue you are interested in to get a map.

Q. What should I bring/what should I wear?
A. Loose, comfortable clothing that won't restrict your movement. Bring a bottle of water with you and a blanket or warm clothes for relaxation.

Q. Will I be able to keep up with class?
A. I am not a strict teacher and offer break points in all classes where you can decide to rest or continue, so you will always have the option to take it easy on yourself.

Q. I have an injury or medical problem, can I still attend class?
A. You need to email me first to check. You will also need to complete this form and bring it with you to class

Q. How much is class?
A. I only teach terms of Yoga, and all of the information on when, where and how much can be found in the 'class timetable' section of my website

"From the very first Yoga session, people discover the intimacy that nature has established between awareness and physiology. Getting back in touch with this intimacy is very reassuring and delightful, particularly for people who have given up on exercise and become virtual strangers to their bodies"
