TriYoga Weekend immersion

26-27th May 2012, 10.00am –4pm Sat & 1pm to 4pm Sun
Iffley Church Hall, Iffley Village, Oxford

Come and spend the weekend at Iffley Church Hall being absorbed in TriYoga flows and feel the most peaceful and centered you've ever felt after practicing Hatha Yoga. These unique and inspirational sequences really help to deepen your understanding of Yoga practice. Great if you've never tried it, and wonderful if you currently attend TriYoga classes with James and want to go that bit deeper.

Workshop outline

Some years ago, my teacher at the time told me about Kali Ray. She had been one of his teachers and I thought it might be nice to see if she would teach me too. I'm glad I decided to try (tri?) this technique - it's the best! Tri Yoga requires a dedication to precision and an absorption in even the most basic poses. There are a number of principles that distinguish this practice from any other; spinal flow, alignment, grace, and a wonderful integration of breath with movement.

What you will take away with you

  • An enriched understanding of how to flow in your practice
  • Personal Attention - 2 teachers to 15 students, a great ratio for making sure you get things right
  • Refine Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)
  • Deeper Understanding of how to create movement from your core and spine

"From the very first Yoga session, people discover the intimacy that nature has established between awareness and physiology. Getting back in touch with this intimacy is very reassuring and delightful, particularly for people who have given up on exercise and become virtual strangers to their bodies"
