This course aims at introducing key concepts of movement and posture. Over the 12 weeks the student will learn Asana (posture), Pranayama (breath work or control), and Dharana (concentration/mindfulness).
The student will be introduced to a variety of Vinyasa, or flowing sequences. The sequences are specifically designed to open the students body and focus breath with movement. Many of the sequences will be be based around TRI YOGA, a technique created and taught by Kali Ray. We will focus on breath and breathing techniques, thus taking the yoga from a simple set of stretches into a deeper practice to rejuvenate and refresh the body and mind.
