There is an absolutely overwhelming selection of Yoga mats available today. I've tried quite allot of them over the years and these are my recommendations:-
Tree Mat - £28.00
This is the one. My favorite ever Yoga Mat, I have no hesitations recommending this.
The Tree Mat is made from dry Natural Rubber from the Havea Brasiliensis tree, on a 100% cotton mesh. Natural rubber and cotton are degradable making this an ecologically sound yoga mat. The Tree Mat also has the best grip, which combined with good shock absorption and abrasion resistance make this mat unbeatable.
Warrior Mat Standard - £14.00
A great basic option for those of you getting started or on a budget.
the Warrior mat provides good grip and cushioning and offers fantastic value for money. 4mm is the most popular thickness of yoga mat for regular yoga practice and at 183cm (6ft) long you'll stay on the mat.
Warrior Mat Thick - £18.00
A good option if you have sensitive knees and feel the floor through a standard mat.
The Warrior Plus yoga mat offers the same excellent grip as the standard Warrior mat but with 33% extra thickness it offers more cushioning for extra comfort. Available in fiery sunset red and yellow or cool shady green and yellow two tone.
