One of the hardest parts of Yoga practice is to find the motivation, interest and assurance to practice Yoga on your own.

With this in mind, I have created some audio recordings to support you in the parts of practice that are the hardest to do solo. There is so much information available on Yoga poses, how to do them and not do them, all you really need is the motivation to do them. This is down to you. However, to practise Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Yoga Therapy, you might find some guidance useful.

Yoga Nidra is a doorway to deep relaxation. It is a restorative practice, designed to help you let go and feel deeply peaceful, calm, centered and relaxed. This is ideal as a practice for those suffering with too much to do and not enough time (eh, that's all of us I think!), people who want to get time out from their thinking minds, and those experiencing insomnia, anxiety, depression, PTSD and fatigue. The CD plays for 30 minutes and is best listened to in a quiet place (in the bath or at bed times if you have a noisy household). You don't have to complete the whole thing, just listen to as much as you like.

I take time for Yoga Nidra most afternoons and have done for years. I sometimes wonder if this is why people say "38? You really don't look your age!". Either that, or my mum had it away with Peter Pan...

Pranayama literally means "to extend and expand one's life force" (B.K.S. Iyengar) and is a practice that is restorative in its form.
